Utah Research on Capitol Hill

Utah’s Research on Capitol Hill is an annual celebration of undergraduate research, held in the Rotunda of the State Capitol. Organized by USU and UU. It features the two public research university students and their research projects. Students of all disciplines from around the state share the results of their investigations with legislators.

UU's GCSC seminar series - Sarah Kanouse

The Global Change and Sustainability Center Seminar Series at the U presents Sarah Kanouse, Department of Art + Design, Northeastern University, speaking on “Entanglements: artistic strategies for complex ecologies.” The GCSC seminars are open to all, especially students enrolled in Seminar course, SUST 6800 and take place from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the University of Utah, 210 ASB (Aline Skaggs Biology Bldg.)

Utah Conference on Undergraduate Research

The Utah Conference on Undergraduate Research (UCUR) will be held at Southern Utah University in Cedar City, UT. UCUR is modeled after the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) and organized by a committee of representatives from educational institutions across the state. The conference celebrates academic, professional, and personal achievements resulting from undergraduate research projects or creative endeavors. Undergraduates from all disciplines are invited to apply for the conference, which provides an excellent opportunity to students to present his or her work in a scholarly setting to students, faculty, field specialists, and community members. Presentations may include both visual and oral displays of work in all academic disciplines, from art history to molecular biology.
