Weekly Recap:

Week 1 | Week 2 | Week 3 | Week 4 | Week 5 | Week 6 | Week 7 | Week 8 | Week 9 | Week 10 | Week 11

Week 1: May 18-22, 2015

This week I have been introduced to the projects that I will be doing this summer.  I have also been able to meet with my mentors and start training for the project. I have been uploading data to start mapping Utah's water.

Week 2: May 25-29, 2015

At the beginning of the week we entered more data, checked previous data input, and corrected errors associated with previous data.  I also had the opportunity to read literature regarding similar projects that have been done in the past.  There is a lot to do but I am still excited to be an iFellow this summer!

Week 3: June 1-5, 2015

This week has been really exciting.  I have continued to study the project area and read a lot of literature.  I have also been able to start using ArcGIS to get familiar with the area for the project.  We have also started to prepare some of the materials to do some fieldwork.

Week 4: June 8-12, 2015

It has been another great week as an iFellow! I have been looking at GIS data from the city and started on a different project. I have been learning so many things while training with iUTAH.

Week 5: June 15-19, 2015

It's been another great week in the lab.  The Cohort session in Provo was a great start to the week.  I was able to input more data into the program we are using.  I am really enjoying the training that I am doing here in the lab.

Week 6: June 22-26, 2015

Week 6 has been a great week as an iFellow. I have enjoyed my project more and more everyday. I am still entering a lot of data into the program, but it is great. I also had a lot of time to make my poster presentation for the upcoming symposium!

Week 7: June 29-July 3, 2015

This week has flown by so fast! It seemed really short because we had our cohort session at the beginning of the week where we got to present our posters. During the week, I was able to simulate a similar project conducted in California. It was another busy week as an iFellow!

Week 8: July 6-10, 2015

No Entry

Week 9: July 13-17, 2015

Week 9 has been great, but the highlight of the whole week was the symposium in Midway.  It was really neat to see all of the different projects going on throughout the iUTAH program.  It was also really interesting to see how many people are involved in iUTAH projects throughout the state.  Overall, it was a great week!

Week 10: July 20-24, 2015

I cannot believe that we are already finishing up with our tenth week as iFellows!  This week has been exciting because it's one of the last weeks of the program. I have enjoyed my time with iUTAH and I am excited to see upcoming projects!

Week 11: July 27-31, 2015

I cannot believe that the last week of the iFellows program is ending already!  This week has been one of the best weeks because we had the opportunity to attend the iFellows symposium in Salt Lake.  I especially liked the symposium because it highlighted the research that we had done this summer and we got to hear about each others' work.  It was really neat to see the range of research projects that the iFellows are doing throughout Utah.
