University Educators & Students

iUTAH’s mission explored how factors such as population growth, climatic variability, land use change, and human behavior affect the sustainability of our water resources. This was accomplished by conducting innovative, interdisciplinary, and multi-institutional research on all aspects of Utah’s water system, both natural and human, as well as the linkages between them. iUTAH researchers included undergraduate students, graduate research assistants, postdoctoral associates, and faculty at all three major research universities and many of the primarily undergraduate institutions in the state, reflecting the growing diversity of our state. iUTAH supported programs such as iFellows and traineeships geared specifically towards undergraduate water-related research at student's home institutions or at Utah’s major research universities.
