Outdoor Educational Signs
Utah Water Watch (UWW) installed three stream-side signs near popular recreation areas within the iUTAH’s three experimental watersheds. Each of these signs provide information about why Utah Water Watch monitors water quality in the state and highlights UWW volunteers and the iUTAH scientists that monitor water quality on the Logan River, Red Butte Creek, and the Middle Provo River.
This project was funded by iUTAH’s EOD Innovation Award program, which was aimed at sharing iUTAH research and UWW citizen Science efforts with the public. Through research along these watersheds, iUTAH has sought to understand how water quantity and quality changes as the water flows from the mountains to the valleys and urban-settings.
