The Global Change and Sustainability Center Seminar Series at the U presents Natalie Gochnour, Associate Dean, David Eccles School of Business; Director, Gardner Policy Institute, University of Utah speaking on “What’s missing in Utah’s economic prosperity?” The GCSC seminars are open to all, especially students enrolled in Seminar course, SUST 6800 and take place from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the University of Utah, 210 ASB (Aline Skaggs Biology Bldg.)

Utah Water Watch - Tier 2 Training, Ogden, UT

Learn about water quality issues and advanced monitoring techniques at this Tier 2 training from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Trained volunteers have the opportunity to help collect water quality data. This training is open to current UWW volunteers and others with prior background in environmental monitoring. Jordan River Watershed Council Meeting

The Jordan River Watershed Council (JRWC) meets annually to review water quality projects and concerns, as well as intermittently throughout the year to facilitate discussions around specific issues (e.g. instream flows, headwater concerns) or projects (e.g. specific stream restoration efforts). A meeting will take place at the Salt Lake County Government Center, 2001 South State St., North Building, Room N3-930, starting at 10 am.
