GCSC seminar series - Jim SteenburghGlobal Change and Sustainability Center Seminar Series will host Jim Steenburgh, Department of Atmospheric Science, University of Utah on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the University of Utah, 210 ASB (Aline Skaggs Biology Bldg.)
2015-16 is the sixth year of the GCSC seminar series, which presents some of the best researchers--from around campus and across the country--whose work sheds light on global change and sustainability. Seminars are open to all, and students who are enrolled in the Seminar course, SUST 6800, have additional opportunities to engage with the speakers.

Environmental Ethics SymposiumUtah Valley University’s Center for the Study of Ethics’ is hosting the 27th annual Environmental Ethics Symposium titled “Desert Water: The Future of Utah’s Water Resources.” The symposium will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 3 in the Classroom Building, Oquirrh Mountain South (CB 511).
A panel discussion will follow the screening of the films “Desert Water: A New Water Ethics” and “The Future of the Great Salt Lake.”
