The Outdoor Education Series at Southern Utah University works to craft a year's worth of lectures, presentations and "experiences" - a fancy word for field trips - that will pique the general public's interest enough to keep them coming back for more. Several of the presentations in this series are water-related.

iUTAH will have a booth at the USU Science Unwrapped: Great Salt Lake Today series on January 16, 2015 at 7:00 pm in the Eccles Science Learning Center Auditorium. This month's topic is "Great Salt Lake: Stranger in Utah's Backyard" presented by Wayne Wurtsbaugh, professor, USU Department of Watershed Sciences and USU Ecology Center.

Global Change & Sustainability Seminar Series

The University of Utah Global Change and Sustainability Center's Spring 2015 Seminar Series is now in its 5th year. Check out the schedule for exciting opportunities to hear from scholars and engage in relevant discussions on important sustainability issues. The Seminar is held at the Univeristy of Utah's Aline Skaggs Biology building on alternating Tuesdays from 4:00 - 5:00 pm.
